Radisson Hotel Istanbul Harbiye

Please be very cautious about this dangerous place. As a guest at this hotel, I am completely dissatisfied with their reception and management system. The day after I checked out, I realized that my shoes were missing from my suitcase. I immediately contacted the hotel, and they said they didn't have them. After reviewing my entire time there in my mind, I am certain that they are definitely there. Despite my numerous phone calls and visits, which exceeded 7 times, they told me to come and pick them up without apologizing and said they had just found them. The hotel has a very ordinary breakfast, and I hope you don't fall for it. The gym is very small and messy, and instead of opening at 12:00 noon, it opens much later. I hope all travelers pay attention to these issues and then make their decisions

Nice hotel, small rooms suitable only for 2 adult or max. 3 small kids, location considered close to most important sites, breakfast was normal can be better, I would consider next time to take the rooms without breakfast, rooms were clean and has most important things, in simple words this hotel is good just to spend the nights during your visit to Istanbul.

The hotel is good. It lies 10 minutes away from nisantasi which is amazing. It also has another benefit of not being in an extremely quiet place nor a crowded one - the noise from the street is bearable. But we faced a lot of weird things there: 1. I wanted to book a Mercedes Vito to take us from the airport to the hotel. I sent them an email and then called them because it took them too long to respond. After that they confirmed the car both on the phone and via email. When we arrived at the airport I wanted to check where the car is waiting for us, so I called them. They then stated that there isn't a car booking with our name, even though it has been confirmed TWO TIMES via email and phone. 2. Upon arrival, they made us pay 100 dollars "insurance" and that they will give it back to us at the end of the stay. I found it so weird as I've never seen it in any hotel before. They gave us a receipt and we took it at the end without any problems. 3. When the bell boy carried the bags for us to our room, he kept standing and didn't move because he was waiting for us to tip him. We found it extremely weird that he was waiting for us to tip him. 4. There isn't a qibla direction in the room. You will have to ask one of the staff to show you the qibla, but make sure that whoever shows you the qibla shows it to you from your room and not the reception, because the directions will differ. 5. The breakfast is good, yet I expected it to be much better, especially from a brand like Radisson. 6. Upon leaving, we asked Aminah for a Vito car from the hotel to the airport. She stated that each reception staff will give you a different price. She told us that the car will be 70$, yet another guys the next day told us it was 80$. When we saw the car, it was barely worth 35$. The car quality was completely not worth 70$, but bearable.

We had a very nice stay at the Radisson Harbiye. This is an outstanding property in many ways. Super convenient location close to Taksim Square, transportation, and the famous İstiklal Caddesi. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The building is new and modern. The prices are very reasonable. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had a very nice view of the city including the beautiful Bosporus and the Asian side in the distance. Room service is friendly and attentive. Last but not least, the entire staff of the hotel is always friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated Ahmet who truly went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome. Ahmet was always available to give advice, make recommendations, and look out for us to make sure that our stay here was safe, interesting ,and enjoyable. Thank you all very much for making us feel like valued guests. We are glad to have picked the Radisson Harbiye for our stay in Istanbul. Highly recommended! A+++
